Аннотация доклада:
The report is devoted to the history of the emergence of marine biological stations in Russia and an overview of the currently operating stations. The emergence of the first stations in Sevastopol, on the Solovetsky Islands, in the Ekatrenin harbor of the Kola Bay is described. An analysis of the work of marine biological stations in Russia at the present stage is given. Comparative statistics of the number of visitors, educational and scientific programs of the stations are given. The prospects for the development of marine biological stations in Russia are discussed
