Barbotage is a process that occurs during the passage of the gas flow through the liquid and is accompanied by appearance of a lot of gas bubbles. Upon investigation of the fluid regime of ore gold fluid-magmatic system Darasun goldfield (Eastern Transbaykalia, Russia) we have found the evidences of the barbotage participation in the formation of vein gold deposits. The study of gallium distribution in fluid inclusions in quartz from gold deposits of Darasun goldfield allowed us to reveal the variation of gallium concentration in ore forming fluids from different deposits of this hydrothermal system (average concentrations, ppm: 10.8 for Talatuy, 20.7 for Teremkinskoye and 59.5 for Darasun gold deposit, fig. 2b). The uncovered fractionating of gallium in ore forming system from Talatuy deposit to Darasun one serves as one more proof of gas fluid migration in hydrothermal system Darasun goldfield. Such migration in turn can be used as an independent evidence of the presence of barbotage process. Barbotage is widely used in technology particularly due to its high coefficients of interphase energy and material transfer and also due to large specific interface areas which can be reached in barbotage layer. It promotes the heat- and mass-exchange processes as well as the chemical interactions in gas-liquid systems. Barbotage also promotes the flotation process. Flotation is transfer of fine-dispersed hard particles, amount of which can exceed its solubility in nature fluids. All mentioned phenomena can take place in hydrothermal process.
