In this work we investigate the behaviour of a model atomic system in a presence of the non-classical electromagnetic field. We suggest the scheme of interaction between a model atom and quantum field in which a dark state can be created and both the atomic dynamics and the dark state production can be controlled by the relative quantum phases of dierent Fock states composing the initial field state. In other words the system can be introduced as the phase sensitive quantum memory or as the phase sensitive quantum gate.
