12 species of colonial entoprocts have been known from the Sea of Japan: 2 Pedicellina, 7 Barentsia, 1 Pseudopedicellina, 1 Loxosomatoides and 1 Urnatella. All of them are reported from the main islands of Japan. Only one species has been described from Russian coast of the Sea of Japan – Barentsia discreta. In this paper 5 species new for Vostok Bay of Peter the Great Gulf are described: Pseudopedicellina mutabilis, Barentsia discreta, B. gracilis, B. matsushimana, B. conferta and B. gigantea sp. nov. Colonies were collected on the shells of mussels Modiolus difficilis (depth 3-8 m) and fixed at 70% and 96% ethanol. The species differ with length of zooids, stalk structure and number of tentacles. B. conferta hasn't been described for the Sea of Japan so far, but it very closely resembles a species B. hozawai Toriumi, 1948 and these species may be synonymic. Differentiation of species may be difficult using only morphological data. Some zooids of B. discreta have an add muscular portion in stalk that is a feature of B. gracilis. Juvenal forms of B. gracilis and B. gigantea are the same as zooids of B. discreta. So DNA-analysis is nessesary to definitive classification
