The emission of Auger electrons during the formation of the Moessbauer nucleus 57Fe leads not only to the formation of multicharged ion 57Fen+, but also to the appearance of the Auger blob, a cloud of several hundreds of ion-electron pairs (Н2О+, e-) around the Fe ion. Fast radiation-chemical reactions therein determine the experimentally observable yields of final chemically stable charged states of the Mossbauer ions (Fe3+ and Fe2+). In contrast to previous radiation chemical data under the same experimental conditions, we have shown that the reactivity of NO3- cations with quasi-free track electrons exceeds those of H3O+, ClO4- and HSO4- ions by a factor of three only.
