Аннотация доклада:
The present talk is devoted to teaching editing in a creative writing course. The author outlines the main challenges faced by EFL students when crafting creative texts of their own and offers the types of tasks that could help to guide them through the revision process. Five case studies are adduced to show how a text may be transformed from the original to the final draft, with a detailed account of techniques that enable the writer to improve their work.
