Аннотация доклада:
A model of modular nonlinearity is developed for calculating the field of a high-intensity focused bounded acoustic beam. Exact solution of a nonlinear diffraction problem is obtained. The effects of diffraction and nonlinearity on the wave profile of the beam are compared. It is shown that as the characteristic beam width decreases, a sequence of short positive high-amplitude pulses is formed, which was observed experimentally.
