Аннотация доклада:
Analytical solution obtained by Alexeev and Belenkaya [1989, 1991] for the Alfven wings generated in the magnetized plasma by the body without own magnetic field but with inhomogeneous conductivity allowed us to estimate the value of the induced magnetic field ~7 nT in the Callisto environment, which well coinsides with the Galileo observations. We did not consider that the field-aligned currents are closed by the sub-surface salt ocean, but only by the atmosphere/ionosphere of Callisto.
