Screening and renormalization technique[1] is used to include the Coulomb interaction to describe deuteron induced nuclear reactions in momentum space within Faddeev based approach. This method works well for light and medium mass systems (Z < 20) but becomes numerically unstable for heavy systems with increasing charge[2,3]. To avoid screening procedure, recently, A. M. Mukhamedzhanov et al.[4] have proposed a new approach using separable nuclear interactions and Coulomb wave functions in momentum space. Thus with the aim of developing an applicable form of the method, we have performed a comprehensive study of the method for systems covering all mass regions. Results indicate that the method works for all systems with all the required partial waves. For clarity, results are presented in two sections: 1.) Approach and 2.)
