In the present work we studied the reaction of hydrogen interaction with the Ti0.9Zr0.1MnYVX Laves phase compounds with the hexagonal structure C14 (MgZn2). Varying stoichiometry of IMCs and alloying of new elements it is possible to obtain new compound with preset properties. The aim of this work was to show proofs: 1) how a slight change in the composition of the IMC can affect the hydrogen-sorption properties of the compound and 2) comparison the thermodynamic data obtained from P-C measurements and Calvet-calorimetry method.
