We set the initial boundary value problem for the parabolic equation with discontinuous right-hand side and study the moving front solution to this problem. This solution interprets the autowave propagating in the media with discontinuous characteristics. We prove the existence theorem and constructed the uniform asymptotic approximation in the small parameter exponents of the solution. In the study, we have used the Vasil’eva method and the asymptotic method of differential inequalities
