Dark mantle deposits (DMD) in Mare Vaporum on the Moon appears to be rich in TiO2, TiO2 rich regions also can be found around the dark-haloed impact craters. The glass content in this DMD is higher compared to the surrounding mare and highland surfaces. The NAC digital elevation models (DEMs) reveal that the plains situated between the crater Manilius and the DMD, as well as east of the crater Manilius D, consist of relatively flat terrains, making them favorable for landing. We anticipate a high concentration of 3He in this region. The prevalence of glasses in this area suggests that extracting 3He is likely to be easier compared to other lunar regions.
