Аннотация доклада:
We study the mathematical model of the aluminum electrolyzer and investigate the evolution of the inter¬face between the molten aluminum and the electrolyte. The full system of magnetohydrodynamics equations for two liquid media is solved numerically. The calculations confirm the hypothesis that the growth of any of the control parameters leads to unstable operation of the electrolyzer.
