Raman spectra of the films studied in ion-assisted deposition in an atmosphere of an argon gas were obtained. Theoretical modeling of spectra of harmonic vibrations of (-C≡C-)n polyyne and (=C=)n cumulene types of carbon films was carried out. The conclusion on attribution of films to certain structures is drawn based on a comparison with experimental spectral data. In the model, hydrogen atoms were replaced by copper atoms and the difference in the calculated spectra is shown, depending on the arrangement of the metal in the chain.
