Аннотация доклада:
Coexistence of ferromagnetism and large ferroelectricity has been observed in hexaferrites BaFe12O19 and SrFe12O19 prepared by a standard ceramic technique from high-purity raw materials. The addition of boron oxide at the stage of wet milling makes it possible not only to restrict the grain size ( with the average value of 300-400 nm) but also to increase the bulk resistivity. The latter is of primary importance to realise ferroelectric properties.
