Аннотация доклада:
The proposed EM/Hadron Calorimeter is targeted to carefully measure Cosmic Ray electrons energy spectrum in a region 100 - 1000 GeV. It will provide a high level separation between electrons and protons, precise measurements of electron energy and direction, relatively good hadron energy measurements and precise charge measurements for hadron type particles. Presented results on protonelectron separation are based on only longitudinal difference between electron and hadron cascades in the calorimeter. Additional analysis of the transversal shape of the cascade allows the further improvement of the separation.
