Presently the coherent excitation of spin ensembles is of prime research importance since it potentially can expand the functionalities of magnonics. In this work optical tools are of great promise due to the possibility to manipulate on ultrashort time scales and to provide local excitation, in particular, by focusing with plasmonic nanoantennas. In this work, we calculated the optical properties of the plasmonic nanoantenna and arrays of subwavelength period, and optimized their size and shape with the purpose of excitation of localized surface plasmon polaritons and spin waves.
