This work presents the results of marine dynamic and circulation processes contribution into the propagation of sea surface pollution. Our comprehensive experience in combined satellite survey of the various parts of the World Ocean shows that problems of satellite monitoring of sea surface conditions and pollution are closely interrelated because pollutants become part of marine environment and evolve according to its intrinsic mechanisms. The report examines specific cases of pollution propagation, generated mainly by meso- and submesoscale vortex processes. The studies are based on remote sensing data in a microwave, visible and infrared ranges of electromagnetic spectrum, as well as on subsatellite ADCP measurements. The results of joint satellite and in-situ measurements analysis in the north-eastern part of the Black sea are given. This enables us to trace the spread of pollution connected with abnormal sewage water and heavy rain river outflows. Natural hydrocarbon seeps in the eastern part of the Black sea and the oilfield area of "Oil Rocks" in the Caspian can serve as natural "laboratories" for studying the influence of dynamic and circulation processes on the pollution propagation. The polluted sea surface of these two areas is always observed in high spatial resolution satellite images giving an opportunity to explore the relationships between the propagation of pollutants and the hydrodynamic and atmospheric conditions. It is extremely important to consider the impact of the dynamic circulation processes into the propagation of pollution, primarily in case of catastrophic oil spills. The satellite monitoring in the Gulf of Mexico after the accident at the Deepwater Horizon, April 21, 2010, proved it.
