Problems of remote sensing hyper-spectral imagery processing using the domestic airborne device of high spatial resolution produced in Russia and installed on the same gyro-stabilized platform as the other measurement instruments are considered together with the ground-based forest inventory data for a test area. Original algorithmic and software tools of imagery processing are described that include various classifiers (computational procedures) to recognize the forest objects of different species and ages as well as to estimate parameters of their current state. The relevant results of imagery processing are discussed of comparison between the newly defined techniques and the common-used forest inventory maps.
