Analysis of three attractive He-3-rich candidate landing sites such as Grimaldi, Riccioli, and SW Oceanus Procellarum was performed. It was found that in these regions there are flat mare regions larger than 50 x 50 km² with typical high FeO content of up to 25 wt%, high TiO2 content of up to 6-7 wt%, and high He-3 content of up to 20-23 ppb. In these regions slopes on scales of 140 m are usually below 5 degrees with exception for small fresh craters. Strong difference between morning and midday depth of the OH/H2O absorption near 3 µm in areas of high TiO2 and He-3 content was also found.
