This study analyses functions of anglicisms in German-speaking texts of the genre of the interview. For that purpose from various German newspapers and magazines were chosen interviews including borrowings. Besides was made the classification of anglicisms according to the criteria developed by the author, which allowed drawing conclusions about their functions in the German language and confirming the similarity with the functions of anglicisms in publicistic texts of other genres.
