Описание:Kinematics of reactions where elementary particles and nuclei participate, is the basic discipline for physics of micro-objects. Without performing a corresponding kinematical analysis, neither to plan necessary experiments and to obtain physical results nor to have a clear formulation of the subject of discussions is possible. In the “narrow” sense the kinematics is an analysis of consequences of exact laws of energy-momentum conservation and Lorenz invariance. The results obtained after such analysis are exact. In the wide sense the kinematics is a discipline which considers consequences of exact laws based on perfect symmetries. Basic knowledge about relativistic kinematics of scattering and decay reactions with elementary particles and nuclei are given in this course, namely: (i) definitions of basic kinematical variables which are being used in modern experimental and theoretical studies of particles and relativistic nuclei interactions, (ii) basic methods of kinematical analysis of elementary reactions, (iii) features of kinematics in the case of reactions with different numbers of particles in the initial and final states, (iv) specific features of reactions in the case of constituents of a bound system, (v) conventions about systems of reference used in experiments, (vi) transformation laws for kinematical variables under their transformation from one reference system to another one, (vii) representations of experimental data taken as functions of different kinematical variables, (viii) basics of computer simulations of elementary processes.
