Описание:The course “Global Limits of Economic Growth” focuses on discussion and analysis of global factors limiting economic growth and their impact on public policy and individual business. The course explores a wide range of adaptation and mitigation policies of international organizations, governments and companies, their risk management capacity according to different kinds of resource limitations. During the course students are invited to identify key global issues and to explore special risk management policies of national and international economic agents in the spheres of ecology, climate change, energy resources, demography, water, land use, food supply and others. The course aims at enabling students to reconsider the synergy between the economic, social and environmental policies and can serve as a guide how to identify, prioritize, and correct resources obstacles to risk management.

Global resource limitations of economic growth are the object of the study. The subject of the study is the set of forms and methods for managing global economic growth limitations on the international and national levels.
