- Аннотация: In this diploma paper attention is drawn to the genre specificity of religious texts (ch.1,)in general and sermon in particular as a form of public address and immediate impact upon the listeners. Among them Homily on the Resurrection preached every Easter in Orthodox Churhes.In Ch.2 T. Makarova studies the literary characters- the clergymen and analyses their speech portrayals with the material of fiction (Jane Austen,Charlotte Bronte, Herman Melville, N.Hawthorn)
