В выпускной квалификационной работе изучены основные аспекты эволюции научно-фантастических журналов в России и США, проведен анализ использования возможностей интернета изданиями, выявлены преимущества и недостатки веб-страниц изданий обеих стран.
ВКР направлена на то, чтобы проанализировать способы ведения веб-сайтов научно-фантастическими изданиями и сопоставить опыт двух стран в использовании возможностей цифровизации. Исследование выявляет впервые информацию об особенностях эволюции научно-фантастических публикаций в зависимости от их типа в эпоху цифровых технологий и подчеркивает важность эффективного использования возможностей Интернета.
ABSTRACT
The graduation paper «Comparative analysis of science fiction periodicals in Russia and the United States of America on the Internet» examines the main aspects of the evolution of science fiction magazines and portals in Russia and the United States. The extent to which such core Internet materials features as hypertext, intermediality and interactivity were implemented was chosen as a way to reveal the predominant way of the periodicals representation in internet.
It helped to make conclusions as to the most effective way to represent the types of materials: text and reviews of literature, reviews of audiovisual sphere (such as films, TV series, comics, podcasts and illustration), bibliographical materials, news of science fiction and science fiction fandom. There is no single recipe for all of them, but digital capabilities are actively probed by all types of science fiction periodicals in both countries, in accord with the publication specialization: literary magazines (Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction and Strange Horizons in the USA, Iskatel in Russia), entertainment periodicals (Mir Fantastiki in Russia), information periodicals (Locus in the USA) and general portals aimed at active participation of fandom (Fantlab in Russia)
