- Аннотация: The work focuses upon Evelyn Waugh’s novel “Vile Bodies” and is an interdisciplinary investigation which combines elements of cultural studies, literary studies and linguistics. The first task of the present paper is to study whether and how the novel echoes and reflects the period of time in question.
