The method includes the following steps: adding magnetic stirrers in a round-bottomed flask and adding 1/2 vol. of methylene halide, completing assembly of ionization reaction device, placing the round-bottomed flask in an oil bath cooker, introducing inert gas to the round-bottomed flask, discharging air, stirring and heating, refluxing of methylene halide and cooling the spherical condensation tube by introducing water into the spherical condensation tube; turning on the high voltage power supply generator when methylene halide steam reaches the ionization reaction chamber, leading the generated strong elec. arc into the ionization reaction chamber, where partial methylene halide steam is ionized, discharging generated gas by an anti-inverse suction bubbler, cooling, washing and reaction to generate smoke dust, sand core filtration to remove non-dissolved byproducts, dissolving the product in methylene halide, and enriching in the flask. The ionization material used in the present invention is methylene halide, which is cheap and easy to get. The ionized methylene halide can directly obtain fullerene derivate, and is more efficient, cheap and low in energy consumption.
