SUBSTANCE: method for determining the aggressiveness of microorganisms-degraders of polymeric materials, consisting in the gas chromatographic determination of the metabolic activity of microorganisms for the emission of carbon dioxide. Calculate specific carbon dioxide emission (mcmol/cm2/h) in the experimental Ve and the control Vc sample according to the formula Ve or Vc=(Se or Sc*0.002124*Mr*v)/(t*s), where Se or Sc – the average peak area of the test and control samples on a chromatograph, Mr is the molar mass of carbon dioxide, v is the volume of an aliquot of a gas sample from a vial (cm3), t is the exposure time of a sample incubation in a closed vial (h), s is the surface area of the test or control sample (cm2). Then, the ratio of the specific carbon dioxide emission in the test sample to the control sample in % (v/v) is calculated from the formula k=Ve/Vc and the absence or presence of the microorganism aggressiveness and destruction of the prototype is determined. EFFECT: method provides an expansion of the arsenal of technical means for assessing the aggressiveness of microorganisms-degraders of polymeric materials and increasing the accuracy of determination.
