timulate the oil production process, and makes it possible to optimize the process of pumping a binary mixture into a reservoir by acting more effectively on an oil and gas reservoir, and also to increase the safety of the pumping process while simultaneously reducing related costs. A method of thermochemically treating an oil reservoir includes pumping the requisite volume of a binary mixture containing ammonium nitrate and sodium nitrate into an oil reservoir, wherein prior to pumping the binary mixture, the capacity of the reservoir is determined and initial measurements of temperature and pressure are taken in the perforated interval of the wellbore, which are used to determine the volumes and feed rates of a binary mixture prepared at the well pad immediately prior to pumping by dissolving sodium nitrate in a preprepared solution of ammonium nitrate. The predetermined volume of binary mixture is pumped through a single line in two stages, the volume of binary mixture delivered during the first stage being no more than 25% of the given volume, and a separating pill of water being pumped after the first stage. Temperature and pressure are monitored during the binary mixture pumping process: if the pumping pressure increases by more than 1.5 times the working pressure, delivery of the binary mixture is reduced or even stopped, whereupon water is supplied and, once the working pressure has been restored, pumping of the remaining volume of binary mixture is resumed together with temperature and pressure monitoring during the reservoir treatment process.
