Реферат (описание изобретения):
A method for the prepn. of arom. or fatty-arom. ketones R1C(O)R2 (R1 = aryl or hetaryl, R2 = aryl or hetaryl or alkyl) is developed. Arom. halide R1X (R1 = aryl or hetaryl, and X = Cl, Br, I) is reacted with nitriles R2CN,(R2 = aryl or hetaryl, or alkyl) in the the presence of nickel coordinated with a chelate ligand contg. 1,4-diazabutadiene fragment as a catalyst and a reducing agent (e.g., zinc) in an ether as a solvent at 120°C. The intermediate compd. with C:N bond undergoes subsequent hydrolysis to form the desired product.
