Аннотация:Interaction between an electron in straight uniform motion and a nearby spherical plas-monic nanoparticle deposited in homogeneous medium is examined numerically with the Discrete Sources Method (DSM). The proposed computational scheme is constructed to solve both Local Response Approximation and Generalized Nonlocal Optical Response theory scattering problem statements. Electron energy loss probability is computed as a function of incident field frequency in various numerical experiments to extensively study the capabilities of the developed approach.
