Аннотация:The
classical answer
to the
question
posed
above would
be
positive:
an
optical soliton can
"free
itself'
of
the
initial noise modulation in
the
course
of
nonlinear
propagation
in
a
fiber. However,
the
situation
is different for
quantum
fluctuations.
It
is shown
that the latter
tend
to
accumulate
and
can destabilize
the
soliton,
even
if
it
moves
through the
light guide
without
losses.
