Аннотация:The Fe-MeC (Me = V, Ti, Nb) nanocomposites were produced by mechanical milling of Fe-Me mixture in organic media followed by magnetic pulse compaction. Structural and phase compositions of the powder precursors and the compacted nanocomposites have been studied with XRD, Mössbauer spectroscopy, DSC, TGA, SEM and AFM tech-niques. Microhardness and corrosion behavior of the nanocomposites have been investi-gated as well. Mechanosynthesis has been shown to result in the formation of the complicated phases composition (α-Fe-based solid solution/carbide-based amorphous phase/MeC). Powders compaction result in the formation of the Fe+MeC+Fe3C nanocomposites with high microhardness of (9’12) GPа and corrosion resistance.
