Аннотация:We
consider
the
possibilities
for
improving
noise
immunity
and
limiting
range
in
measurements
conducted
with
an
optical-phase
rangefinder,
the
radiation
from
which
must
overcome
a
scattering
medium,
as
when
determining
the
topography
at
the
bottom
of
a
body
of
water.
We
analyze
the
frequency
spectrum
of
the
scat-
tered
probe
radiation,
which
governs
the
measurement
accuracy,
noise
immunity,
and
limiting
range.
Two
methods
are
proposed
for
raising
the
measurement
effi-
ciency:
by
introducing
a
smooth
frequency
variation
via
amplitude
modulation
of
the
emitted
beam,
and
through
nonlinear
optical
interaction
occurring
during
two-frequency
measurements.
The
analytic
functions
derived
make
it
possible
to
assess
the
advantages
of
the
proposed
methods
over
existing
ones.
