- Аннотация: The best available technology development is particularly important for waste treatment. The improved system for waste management is an essential element of resource conservation policy in Russia as well as in Europe and the rest of the world. In Russia, the solution of the waste disposal problems and prevention of their negative impact on the environment is a high priority. One of the universally accepted solution to this problem is to reduce landfilling of waste (for example, the elimination of the landfills) and, instead, the concentration of efforts on the waste prevention policy.The special Best Available Techniques REFerences (BREF) started to be elaborated in Russia.
