Аннотация:A boat with a crank rowing mechanism is considered. The boat is equipped with two rowing oars positioned symmetrically about the symmetry axis of the shell. Oars move synchronously. With the use of numerical-analytical methods it is shown that the dependence of the average speed of the boat on the magnitude of the engine torque at stationary modes of motion is close to the square root function with a certain factor depending on the model parameters. This result agrees with the results of the experiments.
