Аннотация:Angular and frequency characteristics of the second and third diffraction orders are calculated for the intermediate regime of acoustooptic interaction. Changing the characteristics with the Klein-Cook parameter and the acoustic power is analysed. It is established that in the case of a high acoustooptic selectivity the 2nd order angular characteristic contains three basic maxima, whereas the 3rd order angular characteristic has five maxima. The maxima are observed when the light falls on the acoustooptic cell at the angles that are a multiple of the Bragg angle. It is shown that more than 70% of incident radiation can be scattered into the 2nd order and more than 50% can be diffracted into the 3rd order at a moderate acoustic power in the intermediate regime of interaction. Peculiarities of the interaction in the anisotropic medium are discussed as well.
