Аннотация:We consider a model for micropolar Bingham fluids. In contrast to the classical Bingham fluid, the micropolar Bingham fluid support local micro-rotations and two types of plug zones. In the article we propose an alteration of the model for such fluids, considered previously
by V. Shelukhin. Our alteration of the model allows to apply the theory of monotone operators. We use an approximation by a Non-Newtonian fluid with a convex potential and show the existence of a global in time weak solution for the initial boundary value problem in any smooth three-dimensional bounded domain, with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions.
