Аннотация:The chapter is a study of manuscript copies of testimonies of Siamese Buddhist monk Sāralaṅkā made in Burma in about 1767 and the 1780s. The publication attempts to reconstruct the context in which these testimonies appeared and discuss the mechanics of translocal Buddhist monastic networking in the eighteenth century and identities of persons involved in such exchanges.
