Аннотация:Philosophy of post-modernistic urban environment, largely originating from the US, proves to be tolerant to borrowings from different cultures. It also opens up broad channels for the penetration of chain restaurants, hotels, malls and clinics. Having a great potential, information society also impacts a very demanding and consumerist human behavior, inviting well established intercontinental brand services, changing the landscape of Moscow. Transcontinental corporations, coming from the US, contribute dramatically to the development of globalized segments in Moscow urban environment, erecting offices, running businesses and using chain services. American architects actively participate in bidding for individual constructions as well as for the creation of the new metropolitan federal district. The paper is aimed at building up a well-grounded understanding of American current and futuristic influence on Moscow urban environment.
