Аннотация:For the first time a specimen referred to Pliosaurus is described from the Lower Cretaceous (Lower Valanginian), represented by a single tooth from Mount Sheludivaya in Crimea. This specimen demonstrates that two pliosaurian lineages crossed the Jurassic – Cretaceous boundary: the typically Cretaceous subfamily Brachaucheninae Benson et Druckenmiller, 2013 and typically Late Jurassic genus
Pliosaurus Owen, 1841.
