Аннотация:Classic researches by American psychologist George M. Stratton (Stratton, 1896) initiated studies of the inverted vision. In Russian psychology this stream was developed with the Activity approach (Leontev, 1975). According to the Activity approach the structure of consciousness includes 3 components: sensory “fabric” (the sensory composition of concrete images), meaning (functional signification) and personal sense (the subjectivity, the partiality of human consciousness) (Leontev, 1975). Sensory fabric and meaning are really opposed in most famous experiments with inverted vision (Companeyskiyi, 1940, Logvinenko, 1981). We`ve created the unique method of «double overturn» which allows us to oppose sensory “fabric” and meaning (as subjective reality) to distal cue (as our objective reality). The method gives an opportunity to oppose the sensory “fabric” and the meaning of perceived scene to objective reality while in famous experiments with the invertoscope the sensory “fabric” and the meaning were opposed.
