Аннотация:It is shown that in the high mountain regions of the southeastern Altai under the conditions of extraarid and extrakontinental climate at the heights of 1700-2200 m above sea level be spread the salty soils, which were conditionally divided into two groups: 1) soil, salted by hydrolytically alkaline salts of sodium (in essence by carbonates and by bicarbonates), i.e. the soil of soda salting, 2) the soils, salted by neutral salts of sodium and magnesium (by chlorides anb by sulfates) with the insignificant participation of soda. The first (complexes of solonchaks and solonetzes) are timed in essence to the trans-accumulative landscapes - the valleys of the rivers, which fall into Chuy. The second (solonchaks and solonchak soils) gravitate towards to accumulative to the landscapes of the botom of Chuy basin.
