Аннотация:Neutron powder diffraction experiments and magnetization measurements have been carried out on the intermetallic compound Ce4Ge3 (Cubic, Th3P4-type). The neutron diffraction data obtained in zero field at 2K, reveal commensurate antiferromagnetic ordering with magnetic moments of Ce directed along (0 0 1) axis (MCe = 1.55(4) mB) whereas the magnetization data depict two magnetic transitions at 12K and at 6K, respectively. Isothermal magnetization data obtained at 2K present complex metamagnetic transition with two plateaus corresponding to magnetic moment values of 0.35 mB/Ce3+ in 2 T and 0.94 mB/Ce3+ in 9 T field.
