Аннотация:This study investigates the effect of X-ray irradiation on potato tubers to stop the sprouting in different periods of storage. It was found that the there was a connection between the period of storage and the dose of irradiation. To control the quality of irradiated tubers the concentration of reduced sugars was measured during the entire experiment and was compared with parameters of non-irradiated potato tubers.
