Аннотация:The application of the local spline approximation method in for obtaining 2D or 3D maps of the anomalies of the sea surface dynamic topography domains with nonuniformly distributed initial information nodes is considered. The reconstruction of various stationary surfaces and surfaces changing with time over a period of 24 h is simulated. To reconstruct maps of the anomalies of the sea surface dynamic topography, the data of only one repeat cycle of the TOPEX/POSEIDON (T/P) satellite were used. The surface-reconstruction quality is estimated by calculating residual and other errors. The minimum spatial size of irregularities that can be reconstructed using this method of processing the altimetry data is obtained. The maps of an anomaly of the sea-surface topography plotted using the actual altimetry data from the T/P satellite are presented as an example demonstrating the efficiency of this technique.
