Аннотация:The magnetostrictions of polycrystalline LaCo13, LaCo13H3.5 and LaCo13N3 compounds were measured in temperature range from 78 to 350 K in magnetic fields up to 13 kOe. It was shown that hydrogenation and nitrogenation are methods of regulation of the magnetostriction in LaCo13 compounds. A more specific conclusion can only be drawn after the location of the interstitial hydrogen and nitrogen atoms in the complex cubic structure has been established.
