Аннотация:Periodogram analysis of various samplings from the Garm earthquake catalog revealed periodical oscillations with periods of 31-32 and 41 days in all time series. Oscillations of the first type are most typical of relatively weak earthquakes, while oscillations of the second type prevail in strong earthquakes. Similar periods also dominate in time series of atmospheric pressure and wind velocity. The direct local influence of changes in the wind-induced load and pressure on the seismicity and Earth's surface, respectively, in the Garm test area (GTA), as well as the indirect influence of changes in the Earth's rotation speed caused by global intraseasonal atmospheric variations (Madden-Julian oscillations), are considered to be responsible for the coincidence observed in the oscillatory structure of compared natural processes.
