Аннотация:The goal of the research was a detailed characterization of the pre-shot EEG alpha activity of world-level marksmen in frequency and spatial domains. It was found that the amplitude of the spectrum of pre-shot alpha activity is dependent upon the level of the sportsmen and that the most pronounced differences between the novice shooters and the marksmen before the shot were in alpha-3 sub-band of EEG. It is suggested that during the pre-shot period a shift of the main frequency of the alpha band takes place and the pre-shot alpha is not similar to alpha rhythm in its classical definition.
