Аннотация:Intrinsic parameters describing the spin polarization and the angular distribution of Auger electrons emitted from atoms are considered. Recently it was found (Schmidtke B, Khalil T, Drescher M, Muller N, Kabachnik N M and Heinzmann U 2000 J. Phys. B: At. Mol. Opt. Phys. 33 5225) that not all of them are independent. We suggest an algorithm for finding explicit relations between the intrinsic parameters for any particular Auger transition. As an example, the Auger decay of a vacancy with the initial angular momentum J = 3/2 is considered. All independent equations relating the intrinsic parameters are found for this case.
